Mother’s Milk Books is a small, family-run press that publishes high-quality, beautiful books for adults and children that normalise breastfeeding and celebrate femininity and empathy. There are very few books on the market that illustrate the natural beauty of the breastfeeding mother-child dyad, and we at Mother’s Milk Books would like to change that!
Latest News: Our latest publication-to-be, Hearth, a pamphlet of poetry duets by Sarah James and Angela Topping is now available for pre-order in our store. Hearth will be launched at the Cheltenham Poetry Festival, on Sunday 26th April, and if you’d like to join us there for poetry readings and a Q&A about creative collaboration, motherhood and writing, you’d be very welcome. Our new collection of ‘modern fables and ancient tales’ for an adult audience: The Forgotten and the Fantastical has now been published and is ready for shipping. This fabulous book features new writing from Becky Cherriman, NJ Ramsden and Lisa Shipman, among others. We are also now open to submissions for our next collection of fairy tales – you can read our guidelines here.
